“Dr. Siepser Among A Select Group Of Doctors To Help Change 100 Lives.”

Dr. Siepser was among a select group of ophthalmologists nationwide that participated in a unique National Crystalens Promotion called – “Changing 100 Lives in 100 Minutes” The goal of this promotion was to, not only dramatically improve a patients’ eyesight, but to ultimately help rid them of their eyeglasses or contacts forever.

Bausch & Lomb, who manufactures the innovative Crystalens (which is an intraocular replacement lens for patients who have cataracts) donated 100 pairs of these lenses, from coast to coast, to 100 participating ophthalmologists. These ophthalmologists would then in turn, pre-select one patient that otherwise, could not afford this procedure – to have a highly skilled Crystalens procedure. All of these Doctors, including Dr. Siepser performed this Crystalens procedure simultaneously on April 9^th, 2008 – Dr. Siepser and Bausch & Lomb helped to change “100 Lives in 100 Minutes.”

What also made this promotion so unique was that Dr. Siepser, along with some of the other doctors who participated, decided to waive their surgery fees, and Bausch & Lomb in turn, donated the Crystalenses for these procedures – What this amounted to, was a free Crystalens procedure for one pre-selected Siepser Laser Eyecare patient. That recipient was Mr. George Gebhardt of Conshohocken, PA.  

Dr. Siepser performed the Crystalens procedure on Mr. Gebhardt at 11:30am on April 9^th 2008 at Vision One Surgery Center in Exton, PA and the result was, yet another success story for Dr. Siepser and Bausch & Lomb’s Crystalens. This Crystalens procedure can permanently help a patient see better for a lifetime. Dr. Siepser’s knowledge and experience has not only led him to perform more than 15,000 cataract procedures in the past 28 years – but has made Dr. Siepser an authority when it comes to the Crystalens procedure.
