Dr Chung is a board certified ophthalmologist with a wealth of Eyecare experience. She received her MD from Jefferson Medical College in 1991 and completed her ophthalmic residency at Wills Eye Hospital in 1995.

Dr. Chung has remained with Wills Eye Hospital treating cataract and primary Eyecare patients while also taking on the role of Ophthalmology Pathway Director at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Chung’s current roles also extend to being an active staff member of the Main Line Surgery Center and tutoring young physicians as the OSC Clinical Coordinator for the first-year Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine residents.

Dr. Chung has involved herself in many groups that seek to advance the frontier of Eyecare such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr Chung is also a member of The American Medical Association and the Wills Eye Hospital Society.

Dr. Christine Chung has received several awards in her field including the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Citation. The Doctor enjoys her work and looks forward to meeting patients that choose Siepser Laser Eyecare to care for their vision. In her spare time Dr. Chung enjoys spending time with her three children.
