CK
CK is for those patients who have never needed glasses before, but are now
struggling to read up close. CK gives back your reading vision by using gentle
radio waves to reshape your cornea.
Crystalens
Crystalens, a single-focus lens, is a cataract replacement lens that works naturally with your eyes’ muscles to give you the quality of vision you enjoyed when you were younger. The revolutionary design element that makes Crystalens the state-of-the-art
replacement lens are “hinges” which are designed to allow the lens to move, or accommodate to focus on objects near, far and all distances in-between seamlessly.
Verisyse
The Verisyse™ Phakic IOL is used to treat moderate to severe myopia, the medical term for nearsightedness. With over 18 years of use and 150,000 procedures performed worldwide, results prove that the Verisyse™ design is safe and effective for very nearsighted people who are tired of thick glasses and are not candidates for LASIK with CustomVue.
INTACS
Intacs are a non-laser option for correcting mild myopia (nearsightedness). This page describes what Intacs are, how they work, the benefits and possible risks, who is a candidate for Intacs, and what the procedure entails.
REZOOM Intraocular Lenses
Intraocular lenses (IOLs) are microlenses that are placed within the eye to correct cataracts, nearsightedness, farsightedness or presbyopia. ReZoom™ intraocular lens is a second-generation refractive multifocal IOL that provides hyperopic cataract patients with greater independence from glasses than monofocal IOLs.
Emmi Program
Emmi is a patient education tool that helps patients learn more about the procedure and the consent process and allows the patient to ask questions as they are reviewing the consent. Our practice finds that patients have a positive experience with the Emmi program because it grants them a more comprehensive understanding of the LASIK procedure as well as the benefits and risks involved.
Patients will be provided with Emmi access information upon their visit to our center.
